Search for Lenders offer Log Home Mortgage Solutions

The mortgage lenders and mortgage brokers listed on this site may be able to offer log home financing but they likely do not specialize in this type of lending. Many mortgage companies can do log home loans as long as the properties are in areas with a high concentration of log homes (ie the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee). Why not everywhere? It can be tough for companies who soley offer Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac programs to underwrite these mortgages without an adequate number of comparable log home sales in the area within the agencies' guidelines. If the most recent sale was six months ago and the property was located five miles away on 20 acres, this is going to be a tough one.
