in Parsippany, NJ. According to AFR's web
site, they have been in business for over
10 years and funded over $1.4 billion dollars
in business in recent years. American Financial
Resources is a direct FHA lender that offers
in-house underwriting for many of their
programs. AFR Mortgage also has a wholesale
lending division which works with mortgage
brokers from around the United States.
AFR Mortgage offers from mortgage products
which can be more difficult to find in today's
home financing environmens including mortgages
for single and double wide manufactured
homes on owned land. They also have a portfolio
FHA mortgage product for people with less
than perfect credit scores. At the time
this page was written, their web site noted
that they could provide financing assistance
for borrowers with scores down to 580. We
